Being a military brat growing up, I understand the stressful process of moving to a new area and having little to no guidance. Wish we were able to give 10 stars! Melanie found our dream home when we moved to VA from overseas. This was the first time for my wife and i buying a house. I had a co-worker recommend me to Melanie and it was the greatest decision ever to go with her! Within an hour of my first contact with her, she had listings coming my way, the lender she commonly uses getting information for me, and was very helpful with all of the questions we had! She is very straight forward with everything from processes even down to the areas of the houses we wanted to look at. She warned us if it may be in flood zones, how safe the neighborhoods typically tend to be, and had an amazing knowledge of everywhere we went looking. When we very quickly found the home we fell in love with, Melanie along with the lender she introduced us to had our offer in within a day and kept us updated with every step. Not only her, but the people she knows in each field along the buying process were amazing! The lenders, home inspectors, and all! I could have never in a million years thought buying a home would be this smooth. She did amazing work for us and we couldn't be happier with the outcome.
